Hip Hop music is probably the most popular genre of music in the United States. It has been the staple of African-American artists and these singers have gained a lot of fame thanks to the genre. But unfortunately, this fame often gets to the head of these hip-hop artists pretty and they always find a way to clash with each other.

Hip-Hop artists can be the best friends as well as bitter enemies. Hip-Hop rivalries are the wildest of any other feud in the entertainment business and create a lot of buzz. Here, we will have a look at some of the best Hip-Hop rivalries that shook Hollywood.

1) 50 Cent and Ja Rule

This epic rivalry has lasted over a decade. 50 Cent and Ja Rule, both Queens rappers, started butting heads in the late nineties. They started taking shots at each other, releasing diss tracks, publically bashing each other, even getting into fights.

Even after 20 years from the start of their rivalry, their hatred for each other is still intense. 50 cent, during an interview in January, said that he'd put Ja Rule to bed if they were on a flight together. Ja Rule fired back with a series of tweets and one of the biggest Hip-Hop rivalries is far from over.

2) Oschino and Beanie Sigel

Oschino and Beanie Sigel, as part of the group Philly rappers, were the best of friends but their friendship didn't last forever. Their rivalry started in 2014 after Oschino called Beanie a fake friend on Instagram and it has continued to this day.

Oschino and Beanie's feud is heated as it can get. With Beanie calling Oschino gay and Oschino labeling Beanie a thief and accusing him of stealing the group's money, we may not see them ever on the same page.

3) Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma

These have had hate for each other for over a decade now. In 2007, Nicki released a freestyle that took shots at Remy Ma. But the two were rumored to be lovers as well. After Remy ma went to prison for six years, Nicki became a pop sensation but this Hip: Hop feud didn't end with Nicki taking shots at Remy in her songs.

The two have since released multiple tracks dissing each other and Remy has even called out Nicki for her "fake booty". It seems as if this feud will be going strong for years to come.

4) Eminem and ICP

Two of the greatest in the hip-hop business collided from 1997 to 2005 as Eminem and Insane Clown Posse (ICP) were at each other's throats over that period of time. The feud started when Eminem mentioned in an interview that the ICP aren't real rappers.

Since that time, the two had been butting heads with both dissing each other in tracks: Eminem in "Till Hell Freezes Over" and ICP in "Slim Anus." They have been quiet since 2005 but they could but heads anytime in the future.

5) Kanye West and Jay Z

This rivalry has shaken the Hip-Hop world to its core. Like in most feuds, Kanye and Jay Z used to be the best of friends, releasing some iconic songs together. Then things turned sour and we first noticed it when Jay Z and Beyonce didn't attend Kanye's wedding.

The two have been trading shots since, with diss tracks and Kanye even referencing Jay Z's street wars by pleading Jay Z not to have him killed. The hatred possessed by the two for each other means this is one of the biggest Hip-Hop rivalries.
