Product Review | Fabindia Haldi chandan mud pack

Hi everyone, I hope you enjoy this section and have a good user experience through the product reviews. Today I am going to review Fabindia’s Haldi chandan mud pack. A 100 ml costs between Rs 250 – Rs 350, and has a shelf life of three years. The product contains turmeric extract, sandalwood oil, and has multani mitti as a base and helps clear the skin. Frequent usage over a period of time enhances complexion.

Ingredients:
Purified Water, Multani Mitti, Kaolin, Papain Powder, Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Isopropyl Palmitate, Glycerine, Calamine, Phenoxyethanol, Imid Urea, Methyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben, Turmeric Extract, Almond Oil, Sandalwood Fragrance.

Directions for use: Apply directly on face and neck in upward strokes. Keep till dry and then wash. Close the lid tightly after use.

Consistency of the pack is soft, paste like, and it spreads on face easily. It dries out within 10 to 15 minutes. It does cause a tingling sensation all over the area of application, especially if you have sensitive skin like mine. I have been using the product since quite some time now (once every week), but have not noticed any long term benefits. The product would not be good for those people with dry skin. The use of SLES and parabens is something that does not make this product a very recommendable product to me, especially because the face area is sensitive and hence we should avoid the use of chemicals on it.
