Salman Khan acquitted in Arms Act case

The Arms Act case filed against the leading Bollywood actor Salman Khan in the year 1998, had a major development today. The actor was accused for several cases simultaneously with this one, such as, cases of poaching of chinkaras and black bucks, when he was shooting for Hindi film Hum Saath Saath Hain.

On Wednesday, Jodhpur Chief Judicial Magistrate Dalpat Singh Rajpurohit acquitted Salman Khan from the case, owing to benefit of doubt, as the prosecution could not present enough evidences against him.

Salman Khan went for the hearing with her sister Alveera. There was a huge crowd of Salman’s fans outside the court, who rejoiced in happiness when they heard the verdict. The actor was even acquitted in the case of poaching of chinkaras in July last year.

Salman Khan fans took to different social media channels to express their happiness after the verdict. In response, Salman tweeted “Thank you for all the support and good wishes.”
