Science is yet to find a proper explanation to why exactly do we laugh, but the gang of Golmaal certainly knows ‘how’ to make you laugh. They may not know the ‘why’, but they seem to know ‘how’ to make us laugh. And they have been doing this successfully for the last eleven years. They are here again with the latest installment of the Golmaal series and this one too is designed to make you laugh and chuckle. After your Diwali celebrations, we can bet that this latest installment of whacky comedy Golmaal Again will not disappoint.
Golmaal Again has the most adorable characters – Gopal (Ajay), Madhav (Arshad), Lucky (Tusshar), Laxman (Shreyas) and Laxman, again (Kunal). These people were orphans and they grew up at an orphanage in Ooty. The owner of the orphanage has died and these people travel to the orphanage to pay their last respects for the departed soul. However, they soon realize that a local builder Vasu Reddy (Prakash Raj) and his associate, Nikhil (Neil) are planning to usurp the orphanage’s property. This is when they decide to save the orphanage from the greedy builder. However, there’s a twist since they also have to deal with some ghosts that have started living in the orphanage. What happens next is total Golmaal and can make you go mad with laughter.
One of the best things about Golmaal Again is its adoring and cute characters. Just their presence keeps your eyes glued to the screen and your bums glued to the chair. You may have seen similar things in previous installments of Golmaal, but the situations and characters appear so comic that you can’t help but guffaw. Credit also goes to director Rohit Shetty, who never lets you experience a dull moment by ensuring a steady supply of gags, ghosts, fights and songs.
The movie comes with the promise of hearty laughs and there are ghosts as well to thrill and scare you. If you are looking for some post-Diwali fun, Golmaal Again can be a viable option.
