5 Steps to quick rankings and free search engine traffic.

Hello new blogger, and thanks for checking out my article on getting your brand new blog ranked quicker - and better....FAST.

The first thing you should know, before you read this article, is this:

Blog's have the ability to get ranked faster than static websites - and if you choose keywords that do not have too much competition, you CAN GET YOUR BLOG RANKED. And, unless you plan on spending tons of money trying to figure out AdWords or other advertising/ppc campaigns, this is your best strategy for getting targeted traffic to your blog's.

1.Content and LOTS of It

When you create a blog, it is so important that you provide your own, unique content. But not just for 1 or 2 pages- to have ANY success with Google or yahoo or any other search engine- you must create at least 10 pages. Create 10, keyword related pages.

Add some helpful pages too. These pages should do nothing more than offer help and tips to your readers. Your traffic should feel like they are being ASSISTED in their search for products and product information. Creating these pages shouldn't be hard- actually, you are practically just writing articles that you will place on your blog- ever notice how a lot of blogs have a sidebar list, called 'Articles' instead of 'pages' or 'posts'?

2.Create Articles for EVERY Page

Don't just write an article for your homepage or main keyword. Write at least one article for each page- with 1 link to the page and a link at the end directing readers to your main page or home page.

Remember, this is just the beginning strategy - once you complete all these steps- go back and create more pages and write more and more articles for all your pages. Usually, by the time I get into the swing of things, I have at least 7-10 articles FOR EACH page!

3.Make Web Sites

Just in case you aren't sure what Websites are -they are sites that are interactive, like a blog. I recommend using Hub pages, Squidoo, Wet paint, free blogs, like WordPress.Com and Blogger too.

The best way to use this strategy- is to create each property just like you would create your pages on your blog. Add helpful tips and a few images - with keywords placed evenly throughout. But not TOO MANY- try around 2-4 per 100 words.

At first, just make 1 web 2.0 property from around 5-10 Web 2.0 sites- and make them ALL based AND named after your MAIN KEYWORD- linking them to your blogs homepage and one other page on your blog.

4.MORE Articles

NOW- write articles and link them to the web 2.0 sites. i usually begin by writing 1 article for each web 2.0 property- linking to the web 2.0 property and also link to the original blog. Sometimes it’s OK to link to 2 different Web 2.0 properties from the same article.

What this does is build the value of your 2.0 properties- and this will make THERE LINKS worth more when linking to your blog from them. It will also give them better chance at getting ranked by themselves.

5.Bookmark and Ping EVERYTHING

Social bookmarking is simply a form of "sharing' publicly. The social bookmark sites, like Digg, delicious, and Stumble upon were original created as a way for people to share cool stories and videos with each other. But for blogger's and internet Marketers, this can be a great way to create plenty of links to our blogs.

But they do more than give us links- I use 'jamespot' frequently, and I have seen many of my 'spots' get ranked on the 1st page of Google and other search engines - and it only took me 2 minutes to bookmark my blogs.

But don’t just stop with bookmarking your blog- bookmark EVERYTHING - I'm talking articles, web 2.0 sites, every single page on your blog and anything else you create that has its own unique URL.

This 1 step is HUGE - from my experience I know that when we bookmark ALL OUR SITES AND ARTICLES, we create a huge network of links and increase link weight and traffic almost effortlessly. What you want to do is sign up for as many of these social bookmarking sites as you can.

Put the 'ADDTHIS" bookmarking bar on your tool bar and simply click on all the little bookmark icons after each article and web 2.0 site.

These steps are a guideline. Star out with this exact process and you will see results- results in various different areas of your blog marketing. Once you complete these steps- KEEP GOING. Keep creating new content for your blog- write more articles - start making Web 2.0 sites that use your other good keywords.

This is what it takes to build up your blogs presence on the net - and depending on your main keywords, you will see that getting your blog's ranked on Google is not impossible.
