Healthy Skin:
Including bitter gourd in your diet will allow you to fight off skin infections such or diseases such as eczema and psoriasis. It helps your skin to remain-acne free and gives you a radiant glow. In addition, it also helps get rid of blemishes and acne scars from the skin.
Facemask:
Did you know this vegetable can be used as a great face cleanser? Take peels of a few oranges and dry them in sun for a couple of days. Now mix these peels along with 2 deseeded bitter gourds and blend them in a blender. Apply the paste on all over face and neck and let it dry. Later, wash it off with cold water. Alternatively, for glowing skin, you can use bitter gourd with cucumber. All you have to do is prepare a paste using 1 bitter gourd and 1 cucumber and apply it on your face as well on the neck. Leave it for 7-8 minutes. Rinse it off with water.
Purifies the blood:
It’s no news that bitter gourd is considered one of the best natural blood purifiers. If you drink its juice on an empty stomach, it helps purify the blood, giving you a clear and glowing skin. After all, it’s the impure blood that causes darkening of skin, pimples and acne in the first place.
