The Enforcement Directorate on Friday issued a show cause notice to Shah Rukh Khan, his wife Gauri and Juhi Chawla. The notices were issued under the context that the trip had caused a loss of R 73.6 crore of Foreign Exchange in a FEMA case with regards to IPL. This was done since the shares of Knight Riders Sports Pvt Ltd(KRSPL)to a firm based in Mauritius at a cost lower than their actual value resulting in the loss of foreign exchange.
The case dates back to 2008-09.
